Wild Voice Workshops and Retreats
Wild Voice hosts frequent workshops and retreats throughout the UK and Europe. The one- to two-day workshops focus on embodied physio-vocal practices, accessing our emotions through sound and experiencing flow state within improvisational choir. Through a series of guided visualisations and bodywork, we begin to awaken the sensitivity of our bodies and voices, opening our imagination and allowing for the release of tension and resistance stored in the body.
The practice invites participants to move beyond the social conditioning of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, ‘good’ and ‘bad’. There is no ‘right’ way to create sound. The focus of the work is deep listening to the truest expression of yourself in the moment through voice.
The five-day retreats offer a deepening of the practice through ritual and ceremony, releasing and transforming personal and collective grief and honouring our ancestral lineage through song.
